Facebook XMMP - Don't you think its time for Facebook IM?
You gotta admit if you are a regular facebooker that if you've ever
tried to chat with someone its reliability is flaky at best.This got
me thinking facebook already have a jump start on the instant
messaging game.
time facebook got officially in the im game. Something that can be
taken off facebook with some facebook integration, and yes I know
there are 3rd party apps which bridges that gap but its still hitching
off facebooks flaky chat api. With facebook connect making great inroads last year facebook is
becoming a part of our life just like IM. Now its time the bring them
both together in an open manner something portable and open like XMMP. Wouldn't hurt to borrow some ideas from google wave and really take
socialising the web to the next level.
